That's good then. 16ms I heard can still lead to some ghosting, of course those reports are on 17" & 19" monitors. I don't know if it's more or less noticable on a larger monitor. Or if there is a difference.

Laughing My research pretty much stops at 19" ones. Grin

I think I read about a Hitachi 22" (?) that had a 8ms response. It was a medical grade monitor so you might have to re-mortgage the house to get one Sad

Dell 2405FPW

$1200 with a reported 12ms (though they don't say what exactly they are measuring to get that 12ms)

I'm actually considering picking up three of these for myself, though I'm waiting for a sale, in the last couple weeks occasionaly i've seen them for $1080 plus eligable for a $75 coupon code bringing them down to $1005 each. Both times i've seen them on sale (once on home, another on small buisness) it was for about 24 hours. just go to dell and search for "2405" and you'll get all three product links, below is the link for home/home office.

Just for the sake of comparison, what's the average response time on a CRT?

at my viewsonic E220 full color monitor and using caps when my eyes get tired.

it may take two kids to move it when i want it moved, but that won't be until i buy a new house and pack-up.

you gotta get one if you want a real good experience.
