|
|
Hello,
I just bought a regular XBox for my son's birthday.
I am looking for games online and see some games that are for XBox 360, Can those be played on a regular XBox? _________________ really great website |

All models of the 360 support some original xbox games. It's not like the PS3 where backwards compatibility is limited only a few models, it's just a limited number of games that work.
Once upon a time, maybe you would have needed a hard drive (which can be added to any SKU), but since you can use USB for storage now, I doubt even that is a requirement. |

Hellfire and Fortunz are correct. Any 360 can play any original title, but no original can play any 360 title.
HOWEVER I would bet unless you bought a really old unit, that you bought a 360.
There is a pic of several of the "Original" Xbox360's which is my guess of what you bought
This:
is the Original Xbox, not any form of an Xbox 360. So if you have any of them in the 1st picture you have a 360. The 1st 360 was released in 2005, so I'm betting you have a 360.
BTW, I noticed you posted from India, not the UK like you say you are from. Just a little thing, but I modified your signature a bit too :-) |

Nhaaa... SPAMer. They have gotten a lot better over the past few years, but same basics. Post from Asia some place, include a link to something that they want to have a search engine pick up on. |

I was wondering why everyone was talking to the spammer... - I changed his link to point to Bigbruin.com - but it was something that was even less of a "really great website". |
