I'm running a x850 pro 256 agp ....its old skool i know... anyrate it will occassionaly give me issue where the screen wont turn on... i have no idea why but i just reboot and itll turn on.... this happens like very rarely ....so i go to turn my system on this morning and to my best luck my monitor wont get a signal... im running it through the dvi output and tried it through the vga cable as well... i cannot get a bios screen or anything the monitor is completly blank... ive swapped power supplies from a 450 to a 500 that made no difference.... i was looking online and this seems to be an issue that really noone seems to know how to fix for sure... just seeing if anyone on here has any other suggestions

monitor doesnt show signal
cards fan is spinning so its getting power
have reseated it in agp slot like 5 tiems
doesnt work w/ dvi or vga slot
has worked now for about 4months
i cant see anything including bios

x850 pro 256 agp
2 sata hdds
windows xp pro
asus a8b deluxe

plz help i cant use my system lol

PSU? Possibly a sign of being overloaded or starting to fail.

Could be many things....

Have a spare PS or try the video card in another system?

I've had that happen and it was the Bios that went out Sad

Just have to see what you have laying around to start the swap-out game...

PS, Video Card (in another system), ram are typically the easiest things to try first.
