yeah , barton 2500+ hands down. mine does 191x12.5 with 1.8v for 2.4Ghz it does run a little warmer than my 1700+ but i guess it would with 300mhz more. Its prometeia time. i'm gunna get a mach 1 and mod it with r404a freon.

I took all your advice, mulled it over... and went with the Barton 2800+ Laughing

Got it from TCWO for $156 shipped free... Meh, i felt the need, the need to spend money... I mean, for speed! Razz

You know... this is just how most things work for me... I find the best deal yesterday at TCWO for $156 and buy it... By far the best price for reputable stores... Today, the TCWO price is $151 and Newegg dropped theirs all the way down to $149... Bang Head

The 2500+ prices have been climbing though... If I bought one back when this thread started they were $80... now they're $92 at Newegg...

Oh well... I should be able to get this oc'ed to 3000+ at a minimum, and I'm hoping to run it at 400 MHz fsb...

I can get my 266MHz XP2200+ to 350MHz fsb easily on this new board, hope the success translates!
