I have been reading things like that... But, at CES they told me directly that they will just have a lesser presence in memory. They will only focus on the higher end extreme kits. No value memory, no middle of the road 1600MHz kits... Just things like 2133MHz and beyond enthusiast grade stuff.
Their display at CES had a handful of power supplies... Maybe up to 20 SSDs... but only four memory modules. _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Do the new Intel CPUs really scale that high? I don't see too many boards that do 2133...maybe more will show up _________________

I guess not many (motherboards) officially... But OCZ seems to not want to be in your system if you can't get there on your own or officially! LOL _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Sad customer is sad.
They were my first performance memory manufacturer and since then I have owned two other kits, a heatsink and two power supplies.

What did they say they were going to focus on? SSD and PSU's? _________________

| Probably focus on SSDs, that is where they are making killing. PSUs dropped but no where near as bad as memory, so I would say main focus SSD and also still make PSU. |

Yeah - SSDs are the focus. They feel they can distinguish themselves there, while that opportunity is gone from the memory market. I just think it is because that is where the money is right now. Even good memory kits are cheap, but the mark ups on SSDs are huge... Especially for really fast ones. _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Makes sense, just bummed though. OCZ (post Martin Days) really had some good memory for good prices. _________________

| This actually explains why i can't find an additional 4GB on Newegg of my current DDR2 chips. Oh well, there is always Ebay. |
