Hi... Although it doesn't show a stand, I would guess it might have one. take a look at their page for the Liiliput screen reviewed here... They don't list / show a stand for that one either, but I can confirm that it does come with one.
I haven't used that one before, so I can't say for sure though. Maybe shoot them an e-mail... _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Hey Guys, Question...
I want to add put a touchscreen in my SUV, to connect, to... a pc, and can't decide which would be the better brand between Avatar and Liliput. That being said, which 5 and 7 inch screens do you recomend from the better of the two companies? Feel free to email me as well! Thanks. |

Hi Midnightpathy... I really only have experience with the Lilliput. It is a good little unit, and one day soon will be in my SUV as well. One thing I have been reading lately, and it somewhat effects mine now... The lower right corner's touch grid becomes skewed. You may touch and the cursor will indicate a half inch to the left, or so.
I never heard of Avatar, but a good (expensive) brand to check out is Xenarc. _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

Thanks Big Bruin,
Yeah, it's still a toss up. the brand you mentioned seems like a good brand, but I'd like to stay under $300. I don't know if you're here in the United States or not, but, as far as I've seen, Avatar is a little more well known on the regular consumer market, yet Lilliput seems more widely spoken of online. I'm looking at hooking it up to a built in pc equipped with GPS, my entire sound library, and plenty of wireless hardware like blue tooth and wifi devices. My biggest concern will be the clarity of the text on the screen when web browsing and the quality of video when playing a DVD. |
