Have you guys seen the new E3 trailer for L4D2?

Take at look at the trailer here.

Imho it looks too much like TF2 (especially the characters).

It's way too soon for a sequel. L4D needs fixing up first.

probably right and I agree, but there is no money in just fixing it. A new one (better hopefully) means money. I imagine most who like L4D will invest in this one also (like the Halo series). And possibly pay retail unlike many steam users for L4D. Rolling Eyes

LOL, that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it yesterday too. Laughing

They're both with Valve, though, aren't they?

You'd think so, until you remember that one weekend where there was a 3000% sales increase.

Valve's got this thing down pat. If you update your games regularly and have sale promotions, you're going to sell your game far many more times than launch projections, and thus have more customers. More customers is more money.
