The next chart compares the load voltage readings of the three power supplies tested. It can be seen that almost a year later (and much abuse) the first generation X-Finity 600W unit is still going strong, and the same or better should be expected of the second generation. All of the values are well within specification, and absolutely zero power issues were experienced during testing.
Charts like the one above may be hard to interpret as they provide a static image of something that may actually be quite dynamic. As mentioned, the readings on the two X-Finity units did fluctuate a bit, but only by a small percentage. The Enermax unit, however, was pretty much locked onto the values presented above.
The next chart takes a look at the power factor number indicated by a Seasonic Power Angel device. As you can see, the second generation 600W X-Finity did not get any upgrades in this department and still offers a value of about 64% under load.
A final, more subjective test was conducted regarding noise output. In the testing of the first generation X-Finity unit I had access to a digital sound meter that indicated a reading between 40 and 41 dBA in a room that registered 33 to 34 dBA with nothing running. The Enermax is definitely the quietest of the three units tested, but the second generation X-Finity would come in second place, just marginally quieter than its predecessor.
