Ok new to this forum, and you guys seem to know quite a bit about overclocking the q6600. I have no experience overclocking so your if your explanations could be as detailed as possible i'd appreciate it.
I've got a q6600 with zalman 9500at cooler for it, it runs at idle about 50c and under load about 60c. I've got a 680i, ocz 700watt psu, 8800gtx evga, thermaltake armor, 2g of 800mhz patriot ram 4 4 4 12.
I'm not looking to push the limits on anything, I'm looking for maybe getting it upto 3ghz although less would be fine. Couldn't i just set the voltages to automatic? What would be easy fsb number to reach? What are the steps i need to go through to accomplish all this? |
