Vantec EZ Swap EX 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Enclosure
July 10, 2007

With the ever expanding amount of data in the world today, almost everybody reaches a point where they need more storage. In addition to needing more storage space, we now want to take the data with us. We can make CDs and DVDs to take the data with us, however sometimes we need to take more than what even a few DVDs can hold. A quick and easy solution is an external hard drive, which may present its own limitations (such as size and the need for a bulky power brick).

Recognizing that people want to store and share their data in the smallest form factor, Vantec has developed a hard drive enclosure that will allow you to use a 2.5" SATA hard drive externally or internally.

The Vantec EZ Swap EX 2.5 Inch Hard Drive Enclosure (model MRK-250FD) is shown in the promotional image above and is the compact, internal/external, storage solution we're talking about.
