Assembly Time 50 People required 2 Fitting packs included Yes Chest carcase 16mm solid Pine with 3.8mm pine faced plywood back. Tops are made from 28mm solid pine. Some panels are finger jointed material. Carcase assembly fittings dome head screws, wood dowels, plastic backboard joining strip & panel pins. Chest drawers 16mm solid pine fronts with dovetail joints, 14mm solid pine sides and backs with 3.8mm pine faced plywood drawer bases. New dovetail drawers & improved drawer boxes. Drawer runners solid pine, supplied loose. Drawer assembly fittings dome head screws & wood glue. External finish Initial sanding to a medium grade finish which leaves sanding lines as part of the overall finish. Followed by a base coat of sanding sealer and a combined top coat of spirit based stain and finish. Internal finish Internal drawer components are unfinished. Carton Single wall cardboard carton Internal protection Cardboard end protection, components are paper wrapped where appropriate. Contents Assembly instruction leaflet, plastic sub divided fittings bag. Carton exterior Carton printed with product image, description and barcode. Handling All weight, lifting & handling and consumer guidance printed on the carton. Packaging material A minimum amount of polystyrene is used for component protection.

A very attractive oak extending dining table with removable legs to allow access to any room. This table has a stowable central butterfly leaf and will comfortably seat 6 closed and 10 at a squeeze when open. The centre panels are veneered to avoid problems with splitting which can and does occur especially in warm centrally heated homes where the timber dries out excessively. Our Brooklyn collection of furniture is made from partially reclaimed oak recovered from the demolition of old buildings. As a consequence it has a wonderful, rustic character and a rich patina built up through the finishing process which is all done by hand. We use Acacia on the inside of the cabinet furniture. The furniture has a rustic charm of an old heirloom. It has been purposefully designed and finished including the âlettingâ in of timber to fill a hole here and there to save wasting timber. Each piece has its own unique identity which makes it so appealing.
