If you want near silent cooling, the Scythe Mine CPU Cooler should definitely be on your short list of options. It didn't provide the most extreme cooling, but it did manage to keep a hot dual core Pentium processor at a safe operating temperature, even when both cores were loaded to 100% for a period of 24 hours straight. -
