Posted: Fri, 22 May 2009 05:44:21 Post Subject: Planning to do side panel cutting.. (UPDATED) |
|
|
| Quote: | Hey guys!
I'm planning to cut my side panel for my window kit I just ordered earlier by using a Dremel only. I checked in Gigabyte site and found out that the body material for my case is a 0.7mm SECC.
What type of cutting disc I will use for this one and what should be the rotation speed?
Thanks in advance. |
Here are the results

What ever became of this? I'm not that diligent so couldn't tell you the rpm setting (believe between 7 - 10 for me) using the "standard" cutting discs. Try to get the 1-1/4 dia one though so they last a little longer. _________________ As of 02/01/11

| Looks nice. Had I noticed this before I would have recommended the fiber reinforced cutting discs. They last longer and when they go they don't fly off into shrapnel. |
