In order to promote the Bigbruin.com Folding at Home (F@H) team, we're giving away a set of Kingston HyperX system memory. The winner will have their choice of either a 2GB 1150MHz DDR2 dual channel kit or a 2GB 1600MHz DDR3 dual channel kit.

The contest is simple...

are the AMD Turion(TM) X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile any good for folding? I could run that all day but funno if it will do much. I tried it on my desktop but it was beyond horrible since its so damned old lol

The real trick behind my layout is the GPU client. I have: an ATI 3850, Nvidia 8800GTS, and two nvidia 9800GTX cards, all running the Folding@home client. I still need to go and install the CPU client in each of my systems though...


I think that this contest is rather cool, it gets people to Fold, and there is some rather nice ram involved as well ^_^

Fox, just fold with whatever you can, You should be able to make the limit. Every little bit helps.

And as usual, don't worry about me, I'm folding for other reasons so I won't be entering the contest. Wink
