OK... These have to be some of the most unfuriating things ever.
I typically buy a 3 or 5 pack in order to hope that I get 1 applied properly... minimal dust specks, bubbles, etc...
It is like a big deal when i actually get one on that looks good. Was amazed when my new phone's went on with the the first try - and no imperfections.
Just put one on my HP Touchpad... Damn, big screens just mean more area for problems. Looks like a$$ with the screen off - like digital acne all over the screen.
Anyone good at putting these things on? Open a business if so!!!

This is why I pay the guys at Best Buy to put them on when I get my phone... they f it up, it's their problem.
