Okay picked up a 140 before I realized it is a single core and that is all I know about this processor. Confused Sad

It'll either be going into a MSI 785GM-E65 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130233 or a Biostar TA760G M2+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138137

So what can be done with it and I guess if it is just a browser/business apps machine it should do okay??

Maybe you could get lucky and it will unlock to an X2...

The 785 board seems to be your best bet!

As is typical with Murphy........ the reason for the purchase was that a mobo setup I had couldn't be found. Ergo I must have gotten rid of it so needed another CPU & Mem. Get the 140, have some OCZ DDR2 coming in the mail to finish the build.......guess what is found in a drawer in the office? Yep the original assembly I was looking for! Bang Head Rolling Eyes

So may use it else where or just put it together as a bundle sale! Laughing
