So far I love my Crucial Ballistix, however I never really throughly used the other brands. I might go OCZ with my next upgrade. From what I read, they're pretty good. _________________ 5 home-built PCs, ASUS A6Jc Laptop, and a PowerEdge 2650 - all running Gentoo. Now if only I can get a car and plane to run it. It may not be the best but I've loved my G.Skill LE. _________________ You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning. |

You have to be decisive!
In the past year I think I have used Samsung, Corsair, Crucial, Geil, Kingston, PNY, OCZ, and Ultra Products. Never used Mushkin or G.Skill... Will have to work on that! _________________ Sometimes I laugh so hard that the tears run down my leg!

I am decisive.... Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, Mushkin or OCZ. Which ever I can get at the time with the best price for the stats I'm looking for. _________________

OCZ's "budget" offerings have good distribution in Canada. Corsair tends to be very overpriced and their budget offerings don't have heat spreaders.
Lifetime warranties, though somewhat superfluous, are also a good thing. |

As far as overclocking goes, the best OC I've gotten is from some value DDR200 that I pulled out of a Compaq Presario. The brand name was 'Infineon' iirc, I was able to get it to nearly double the stock speed, No idea how that worked out. _________________ ABAP? What did you call me? |
