Sentey Black Box Series BX1-4284 Mid Tower Case

Sentey wants to be considered among the premium do-it-yourself brands, and with the Black Box Series BX1-4284 mid tower case they are well on their way. Version 2.1 of their black series case certainly didn't disappoint. We were immediately impressed with the fit-and-finish of the overall build and the implementation of the tool-less functionality.

Good review of a pretty good case... for $50USD it seems to me to be a good value.... I do have some questions, and maybe these were addressed in the review and I missed 'em (I've had a beer or 3 and tend to 'skim' reviews)... is there decent room behind the mobo mounting 'plate' for cable management? can the hard drive rails be used so that the HD connectors face the opposite way (if looking from the front of the case, the pics show the HD connectors facing to the left; can they turn 180 degrees and face right?) to help with cable management? I think I had another question but the beers killed it.

Yes there is a good bit of room for cable management behind the side panel, at least as much as every other case we've looked at that is setup this way.

You could flip the hard drives around so that the cables were hidden but you'll need to keep 2 things in mind:
1) there is a small lip that "holds" the drive in place that would have to be either bent down or removed. There's just no way to attached the drive cables with it there.
2) The main portion of the drive sled just about butts up to the side panel. There is a small cutout where you could run the cables, (the void is left from bending that material up to make the lip I mentioned above) so you'd have to have it run down through that channel. Again, if you removed that lip with a Dremel, you should be fine.
