| isnt the amd x6 already a 6 core processor. the new line of amd processors will include an 8 core processor though. if you are looking for a computer to game with, i would suggest going intel or stick with like an amd quad core. games dont use that many cores. |

I feel like 6 cores is just unnecessary for most people ATM. From a value perspective it's better to go with a more powerful i5, or just save the money and buy a nice 3 or 4 core AMD.
3 Core Phenoms are pretty baller, running 75 dollars about. Most games only use 2 cores, so the third handles everything in the background just fine, and the 4th core can be unlocked. |
