|
|
Hello folks! Time to upgrade my cheap gaming mouse (an A4Tech K-series). I have limited budget and was originally thinking of buying a Logitech MX518 until I saw this OCZ Eclipse.
Feature-wise, it's great. My question is on this OCZ's durability.
Any comments?

Just about everything I've purchased of OCZ was near EOL within a few weeks of receiving it, if not DOA to begin with.

| I've always been partial to Logitech mice. Seem to hold up really well. |

OCZ has improved a lot since the Martin/Ryan days, but Ryan is still Ryan (at least the last time I talked to him). _________________

As much as I like OCZ regardless of what people say I'd go with Logitech but stay away from EOL products. While they still have to honor the warranty until it expires I have found that support on EOL products from other manufacturers was sub par.
You may want to check out the Razer Death Adder 3G. I think it has 1800 DPI compared to the full blown Death Adder that has 2500 or something like that.
I'm in the market for a new gaming keyboard and mouse as well but it's so hard to justify the cost. _________________ Gigabyte H55M-USB3/Intel i3 530/CoolIT Vantage 240 A.L.C./G.Skill Eco DDR3 1600

Razer is beyond my budget right now. I'm really concerned about OCZ's mice reputation and even if they will RMA, it will be expensive for me as I'm overseas.
I'll go for the MX518 then. Thanks to all who replied! |

| The MX518 is a good mouse, a friend has that one. You really can't go too wrong with a Logitech mouse. |
