Doom 3 and HalfLife 2 delayed...

I don't have a link handy for "proof" but I've read it now @ www.gamespot.com

It's too bad game delays have become so common now. They hype up a game for 2 years, promise it to the complete. Then set the release date back half a year. Half a year later they decide the game isn't going to make enough money so it doesn't get released at all.

I've seen this happen with previous games (StarWars Obiwan for the PC) and I hope the same doesn't happen to either of these games. Wouldn't it be nice if they good just pull off these game releases on time though?

it is quite unfortunate that companys continue to do this... unfortunatly it is out of hands to control if they can meet the demands of their original release date.
