FPS and RPG/MMO are what I like...just beat HL2 EP1 [short f#*@ing game]
The only way I would pay for a MMO is if they add areas/classes/items often...I can't see myself spending $30-$50 for a game, then $10-$20 per month to play repeated stuff [like diablo 2]
I have never really gotten into PVP of MMO except a little Guild Wars PVP...which can be fun, but depends who you play with [or get stuck with]. |

freeshards are the way to go, thats what I'm doing now.

On average DDO get's an update, new content or something, every month. Don't get me wrong, if you're a power player you'll get bored. If you're not... Well let's just say in almost 1 year I have 2 lvl 12 character (which is the current max). Now I know power players that have all 5 slots (I think they even have a 6th slot) that are all lvl 12 capped characters and have rerolled almost if not all of them (maybe several times).
