Has anyone else signed up for the Lord of the Rings Online beta? It looks cool, I just downloaded the beta and am gonna try it out in a bit.
For anyone interested, JOIN THE BETA and come try it out with me!!! [It took a few days to be emailed with product key and acceptance]

Blhaaa... Been on the team for a while. Don't like the game. I guess if you're a WoW fan though you'd like it.
Too cartoonie for me, and just lousy game play. I don't even test cause I hate wasting the time.

EC, what MMO games do you play? and when did you play it? it could still change...since it's still beta.
I dont even know if it is a pay-per-month type thing or not, just want to play a new RPG. I don't like WOW either, Guild Wars was ok but not fun after awhile of playing...I just want an RPG game like Diablo II or Baldur's Gate (for PS2). |

I (and Misty) play DDO. We love it.
I last played LoTR about a month ago. Also LoTR will be a pay as you go.

| I couldnt get into DDO...just played the first quest/tuturial...not impressed yet...and I wont be playing monthly either. |

I've been in LOTRO beta for about 5 months. I find it boring and too linear for my MMO tastes....in addition to what EC said 
Right now I'm playing Vangaurd, and even though there are issues with it, I'm having a blast 
I had a blast in DDO, but got too repetitive for me...I play A LOT so I had everything done before the first major content patch, on four characters  |
