Yes, that was the option I had while trialing the game. I found it to be lackluster, however, and too cartoon-like. Not worth it in my opinion.
EQ1 and EQ2 both have trials right now too. Give em a try if you don't like WoW. |

I've got a bunch of former coworkers, relatives and friends that play it.. They've be on me to at least try it out once.
I'll check out EQ1/2 while I'm at it.. never know.
The only thing I play right now is BF1942 on the Disciples(sp?) CTF server. ...and I can only base rape and camp for so long before I get tired of frag'n people. lol
Thanks guys! |

WoW is great if you like to play with a bunch of 14 yr olds. Be they physically or mentally 14.
I LOVE Warcraft, and after reading about what was done to WoW, and what happens in side the game I have passed on it. This makes me sad.
O'well.... I guess I'll stick to DDO for a the time being. _________________

I played WoW for less than the free month. By that time I had maxed out two characters, only playing what for me is part time. So approximately 20-30 hours a week. I also found the graphics to be lacking, I don't care of the "cartoon" look.
EQ2 I've played since release, taking a break here and there when other games come out (took two months off for DDO).
DDO I loved, just didn't have the content for me. Again by the time I stopped playing (after the first or second update) I had run through the content and was getting bored
I renewed my City of Heroes account, but Im' finding it lacking already. Might pick up Auto Assault, had fun in beta. |

Yea, do wish there was more content, but currently they update/add new content about every month. So at least, they are adding content all the time. _________________

| If Turbine does what they said they want to do, there will be TONS of stuff in about a year. They said they had plans to implement a form of a dungeon/quest creator in the first expansion. |

| If you continue on in EQ1, let me know. I have enough spare equipment to drown a horse and I can make some armour for you as well. |
