Installation:

Installing the second 120mm case fan is a simple four step process. Once the fan housing is removed (step 1), slide the rubber fan mounts onto the housing (step 2). With those in place, attach the fan by pulling the rubber mounts through the four corner screw holes (step 3).

The final step is reattaching the fan housing to the CPU cooler which snaps into place. There are no tools needed to install the second fan. One caution though, make sure you dry fit the cooler before doing the install. This is a large cooler, and things on the motherboard might cause space issues.

When preparing to install the Frio for your specific processor, you need to find the appropriate brackets and attach them to the cooler. If there is a backplate required, you will want to be sure to use that as this is a fairly heavy cooler. In the picture below, the brackets for installing the Frio onto an AM2+ motherboard have been installed. All that is left to do is prepare the CPU with the included thermal paste and attach the Frio to the CPU using the included backplate.
