We've seen a few coolers for the Core i7 platform come across the Bigbruin.com test bench recently and today we have one that has garnered quite a bit of attention elsewhere; the Prolimatech Megahalems.
Prolimatech is a Taiwanese manufacturer of cooling products that got their start in 2008, and at this time they have just one cooler, the Megahalems.


The promotional image above shows an overview of this cooler which weighs in at 790g (without a fan), and features 6 sets of 6mm U-shaped heatpipes. Before we take a closer look at the unit on hand, let's take a look at some published information on it from the

As mentioned, the cooler does not include a fan. Crazy PC chose to send over a
Scythe Kaze-Jyuni 120mm unit for review purposes, but they offer plenty of other options so that an end user could get just the right balance of noise, air flow, and style.
