Testing:

The following applications were used to verify memory performance: Passmark Performance Test 7.0 Build 1031 (64-Bit), SiSoft Sandra Lite 2012.09.18.66, and AIDA64 Extreme Edition 2.70.2200.

Passmark Performance Test 7.0 Build 1031 (64-Bit):

PassMark includes five memory tests as well as an overall composite score. The test results are measured in MB/s, with a higher score being better. The composite score is recorded in unit-less "Marks," where higher is also better. Overall this benchmark identified up to a 7% improvement once the Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8GB kit was overclocked.

"Memory Allocate Small Block" did not reflect any changes in the performance of the Kingston HyperX Beast whether it was run at stock speeds or overclocked.

Then we have the "Memory Read - Cached" results, which also did not identify any performance benefits whether stock or overclocked.

Next up are the "Memory Read - Uncached" results, which also revealed similar performance in any of the three configurations.
