BFG Tech may be best known for their high performance graphics cards, but they have been increasing their presence in other areas of the computer components business. They now also offer motherboards, power supplies, and even complete systems to compliment their enthusiast grade, gaming graphics cards.

This review is going to take a look at one of their beefier power supplies, the EX-1000. As the model name might imply, this is a 1000W unit that happens to sport things such as quad 12V rails rated at 36A each, a modular cabling design, an 80 Plus certified efficiency, and six PCI Express connections for multi-GPU support.
