Passmark Performance Test 7.0 Build 1031 (64-Bit), (continued):

The Passmark "Memory Allocate Small Block" puts the Ballistix Elite kit behind the G.SKILL reference kit by roughly 3%. Once again, overclocking did not improve performance.



"Memory - Write" performance was the fifth test, revealing the Ballistix Elite kit has a 5% speed advantage over the G.SKILL reference memory. Again, no benefit to overclocking.



Finally the overall composite score is higher for the Crucial Ballistix Elite kit, by a 6% margin over the G.SKILL memory. Only a 1% improvement in overall performance was measured as a result of overclocking the Crucial Ballistix. Definitely not a significant "bump" in performance...
