ECS PN2-SLI2+ (V1.0) nForce 680i SLI Motherboard
March 21, 2007

The Basics (continued):

Next we have a detailed picture of the Intel LGA775 CPU socket which is covered with a protective plastic cover at the factory. Removing this clip-on plastic cover reveals the socket itself.

Next we have several pictures of the area surrounding the DDR2 DIMM slots.

The CPU fan connector is located above and slightly to the left of the first DIMM slot. To the right of the memory slots are the majority of the connectors on this motherboard. The 24-pin ATX power connector is located in the upper right corner of this motherboard, easing cable management slightly. Immediately below the power connector is a single IDE connector and to the left of this connector is a 4-pin auxiliary power connector. This auxiliary source is for feeding power-hungry video cards. Finally, there is a front-panel connector behind the auxiliary source. The front-panel connector has connections for the typical lights and switches on the front of your case including: power LED, power switch, reset switch, and hard disk activity LED.

Four of the six SATA connectors on this motherboard are located just next to the IDE drive connector. Another picture of the top-right corner of the ECS PN2-SLI2+ is included for good measure.
