The next few pages of this review contain the results of the benchmarks and gaming tests. Here is a list of the benchmarking tools used in this review: SiSoft Sandra 2007 Lite XI SP1 (v11.22), Everest Home Edition (v2.20), Super Pi (v1.1e), PC Wizard 2007, HD Tach (3.0.1.0), and 3DMark 2006.
SiSoft Sandra 2007 Lite XI SP1 (11.22):
Three tests were performed using the SiSoft Sandra suite to verify the test system's performance. The first is a Memory test which demonstrates a 30% improvement in memory performance was achieved when the system was overclocked from 2.13GHz to 3.05GHz. (higher is better).
The second was the SiSoft Sandra CPU Arithmetic test. The CPU Arithmetic test tries to isolate and determine the performance of just the system processor. Results in this test showed about a 43% improvement with our system overclock. (higher is better).
The final performance verification in SiSoft Sandra was the CPU Multimedia test. This test also measures the performance of the processor, but with different computing tasks than the arithmetic test. Once again overclocking yields a good boost in performance; in this case there also appears to be a 43% increase in performance. (higher is better).
