NZXT Zero Full Tower Aluminum Chassis
February 02, 2007

The Basics:

Now that we've seen the listed features and I've ranted about loud fans, let's take a look at the case. As you may notice, those of us with out the "elite" photo taking skills are in big trouble trying to do justice to the beauty of this case. I am very impressed by the looks of it; it has very clean lines and its design really flows well.

The images below show an overview of the front and back of the case. As you can tell by the glare from my flash, the review sample of the NXZT Zero has a high gloss black paint finish, which is the only color it is available in. On the back of the case you have a bunch of typical features, and a not so typical combination of two 120mm exhaust fans.

Below we take a closer look at the front panel of the case which features a large silver "X" shaped design. The top portion is a door to conceal drives, and the base is slotted for ventilation. Underneath the front panel there is an opening to allow in even more air.

The images below show the front door open, revealing the exposed drive bays; five 5.25" bays and two 3.5" bays.

The below left image shows the case's side panel which reveals an array of four 120mm fans in the area that would be over some of the hot components such as the processor and the video card(s). The below right image shows off the top of the case where you have yet another fan, an 80mm unit to exhaust hot air.
