Sisoftware Sandra Lite 2008.1.12.34:
SiSoftware's Sandra was used to analyze other facets of the memory's performance. Values for integer (in MB/s), float (in MB/s), and latency (in ns) are shown below, and higher values are better for integer and float, while lower values are better for latency.
Here we again see that the memory from
Aeneon is quite capable of hanging with the offerings from the other brands, and really pops at 1280MHz. Despite being underclocked, the combination of tight timings and a 400MHz FSB really lets memory at this speed shine. Matched head-to-head with Crucial at this speed and roughly the same timings, the Aeneon kit looks really impressive.
Performance Test v6.1:
This final benchmark is still rather new to me, and I think this might be the last time I use it. Performance Test v6.1's memory benchmarks provide six different values, and higher is better for all of them.
The excessive amount of data may make it difficult to digest, but we again see the same general trend as reported by Everest and Sandra. The Aeneon kit does quite well and 1280MHz is definitely the sweet spot.
